Halloween Card Swap #2

So here it is, my second and final card for the Swap.  I will be making more cards to send out but this is it for Card Swap cards.  I kind of like this one even though it was very simple. Really do love this K&Company Halloween paper!  HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!

Halloween Card Swap

Had fun today making Halloween Cards for the Swap I joined. This is the first of two sets that I'm going to make.  Not much stamping but I sure loved that Jack-O-Lantern paper so had to work it into something and this is it!  :o)

Bridal Shower Favors

Spent the afternoon making 'Thank You for attending' favors for my daughter's bridal shower. Picked up these heart shaped measuring spoons at JoAnns and dressed them with colors she chose for the "Naughty or Nice" shower theme. I think they turned out cute. :o)

My Crafting Area

My dedicated craft area is in the corner of my bedroom. I long for the days when I can have a entire room for my craft and sewing. It will be awhile though!

My niece came for a visit and we made a trip out to one of our favorite sightseeing spots, Valley of Fire. The weather was perfect and we saw a lot of beautiful wildflowers along with the red rock landscape. Hope you like the layout Marci!

I really do love being part of these swaps. This summer theme one fits right in with my Travel Album for 2010 and the events that I will be scrapping.

"Girl' Theme Shape Swap

These are the two shapes that I made for a swap that I am taking part in. The sunglasses have a mirrored paper in them which you can't really see but they do look cute. :o)

Card Swap Cards

Here are the two versions of the Wedding cards I made for the Baby/Wedding Card Swap. I struggled through this one from beginning to end. Couldn't find just the right stamp and I played with the LO a lot as well. This is one swap card that I'm glad I'm finished with!

Chichen Itza

I cut these Chichen Itza temples for my niece who is putting together her recent cruise vacation album. This is the first time I've made a cut from the Destinations cart but hope to use some of the other images sometime soon in my own travel album.

Speed Scrap - April 30, 2010

Well here is my end result from the Speed Scrap. I know I tweeked the instructions a bit but...well you know how it is! I love speed scraps but oh do I feel the pressure!! :o)

Here are the instructions:

#2 - Layer the 3 papers with the patterned paper sandwiched between the 2 plain.
#3 - Put the picture in one corner of the top paper with a textural item underneath: glitter, mesh or bead spill type thing.
#4 - Attach the picture to the paper with the fastener of your choice, stitches, staples, clips etc.
#5 - Add a feature element, just one, in a different corner than the picture.
#6 - Add a small cluster in the corner with the picture. Between the picture and the edge of the paper. Also add 1 or 2 ribbons or ricrac somehow touching your picture.

Create a Critter Cuts

I finally took the time to grab a few scraps of paper I had laying around and tried out my Create a Critter cart. These are the ones that worked with the paper colors I had and I think they turned out pretty cute. Note: these are all cut at 3 inch yet look at the difference in size. I'll never understand the sizing on Cricut cartridges!

This is a VERY cute Explosion Box that my sister made for me. She did a fabulous job! I'm going to add photos of my grandson and put it on my desk. Thanks Sis! :o)

Easter Cards

These are a couple of simple Easter cards that I put together on the quick. I had two days to make 20 cards and finished them just in time doing them in a assembly line fashion. Next time I start early!

Inchie Swap

So here is my inchie for the swap! I made a few extras to use on cards for Easter because I liked how they turned out. This type of swap is very challenging for me. I never thought I could create anything on a inch square but I did it. Hope to do another one very soon. :o)

Wedding Plans!

My daughter came over and we spent the afternoon working on Wedding arrangements. It is fun but a lot of researching time goes into it. With the ceremony on the ship and the reception after we return from the week long cruise it is a very challenging process. WooHoo!

Licensed Shape Swap

I had so much fun making these Tiggers for the Licensed Shape Swap. Finding the right colors was the biggest challenge for me on this project. The cuts went together smoother than usual though so that was nice for me! :o)

Themed Embellishment Swap

These are my Easter egg die cuts for the Themed Embellishment Swap. I sure enjoyed making these and have already put the extras I made to good use on Easter cards.

New England/Canada Cruise~Sept '09 cont'd

Here are the last two pages of my 2009 Travel Album. WooHoo! I'm really sad that the photos of our October "Girl's Weekend" were lost. I'm trying to think of a way to put together a page without pics. Maybe gather together photos of who attended and do a collage? I'm open to any ideas if anyone has any. :o)

Valentine's Day Card Swap

Decided I couldn't just lay in bed with my cold and do nothing so took my card making supplies there with me and came up with this Valentine's Day card for the swap. I have a little tweaking to do but over all I like the way it turned out.

January 9-16 Cricuteers Challenge

Well here is my 'use your Cricut to make anything' cut. I have needed to get Eeyore done for awhile and finally had the time. I'm working on Tigger now and will post him when I finally get him put together. Love my Cricut!

2010 First Card Swap

I was really attracted to the bright colors in my paper stash when I started this project. Maybe it is this dreary, cloudy day we are having today that makes me attracted to bright, sunny colors. It was fun using my Cricut to make my scalloped squares too!
